ROME, Ga. - The 2012 SCAD Atlanta women’s cross country team finished with a total of 174 points placing them in 6th place at the Vikings Cross Country Open this past weekend.

ATLANTA—Two-time Olympian and head coach for SCAD Atlanta's cross country team, Avard Moncur, will participate at this year's summer Olympics in London. Moncur will compete in the 4x400-meter relay for the Bahamas.

ATLANTA—SCAD Atlanta's Genesis Henderson, a sophomore from Durham, North Carolina, successfully defended his title in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Henderson completed the 5k with a time of 17:12.
